Tourists keen on stargazing should keep in mind Budapest is more than well endowed to satisfy their passion and curiosity. The Planetarium does not necessarily enjoy a privileged location in Budapest, being situated neither on the bank of the Danube, nor in any of the highly rated tourist areas of the city, more precisely, in Nepliget, one of the largest parks in the city.

However, it is privileged by being the only reputed venue from where visitors can admire and study astronomical phenomena. This unique venue in Budapest is able to present and to explain to the curious all that is to know about the sky, but, on top of that, its reputation is enhanced by the constant music and laser shows organized here.
