The Megyeri Bridge of Budapest is part of the M0 ring road of the city and, so far, it is the newest of all bridges over the Danube. It was opened to public transport in 2008, only after two years of construction works.

The most picturesque story related to the history of this structure concerns the naming of the bridge. It was initially called the Northern M0 Danube Bridge, but it finally settled to Megyeri Hid after an intense public campaign of choosing the most adequate denomination.
