The Foundry Museum of Budapest is a branch of the Hungarian Museum of Transport and Technology, next to the Aluminum Museum, the Museum of Electrical Engineering, the Museum of Metallurgy and to the Museum of Pharmacy.
By its exhibits, the museum provides the opportunity to understand some of the Hungarian foundry tradition, displaying marvelous examples of cast ironwork. The collection is also intended for unveiling the life and work of Ganz Abraham, a famed foundry merchant specialized in the production of railway related artifacts.
