The Museum of Arany Sas Pharmacy is located in a historical building which dates back to the mid 19th century, in the Buda Castle District of Budapest. This is a relatively recently opened museum and, in fact, the building where it is hosted used to accommodate a pharmacy until World War One.
After long restoration works, the building was finally ready to welcome the collections which are part of the patrimony of the museum. The exhibits, regardless of their nature (documents, photos, furniture, tools), try to provide an insight into the history of medicine in general and of pharmacology in particular.
